Tweet for Volunteers!
We are incredibly lucky to have a team of amazing volunteers here working with us in Rhode Island. They come from all walks of life, all ages and all over the state; and now from the Twitterverse!
Michelle tweeted us last month (@MERhodeIsland) asking to get involved and the next day she was in our office helping out and entering data.
Michelle is a remarkable student and activist, currently a senior at Time Squared charter school, and has already been accepted into several colleges to major in fashion design. She has been incredibly active at Time Squared being a visible and vocal advocate for gay rights and is working to start the first GSA in Providence and while interning with us hopes to set up even more. She has not only been helping us around the office making sure all of our information is up to date, but she has been making calls, using her creativity on posters and has even gone through our leadership training.
Join Michelle in working to pass marriage equality in Rhode Island, it's as easy as a tweet!
