Martha Boggs, owner of Knoxville’s Bistro at the Bijou, explains to the News Sentinel why she asked GOP State Rep. Stacey Campfield, the man behind the state’s “Don’t Say Gay” legislation and who has made a slew of dangerous anti-gay remarks, including linking homosexuality to bestiality and saying gay people have a shorter lifespan than straight people.
