Video: HRC’s Unprecedented Mobilization for Equality in 2012

What a year it has been for LGBT equality. All across the country, we saw increasing evidence that Americans support their LGBT friends and family members in growing numbers, and reject efforts to codify discrimination in our laws and society.
This year, voters in four states affirmed marriage equality. For the first time, a sitting president endorsed marriage for loving, committed same-sex couples. A solid majority of Americans – 53 percent – support marriage equality. We’ve made tremendous progress in such a short period of time.
