Video: Bishop Gene Robinson Addresses Full House at HRC
October 2, 2012 by Eric Cameron, Digital Media Coordinator
Last night at HRC’s latest Equality Talk, Bishop Gene Robinson moved and inspired a full house of staff, supporters and guests from the wider DC area.
One of the world’s leading religious advocates for LGBT equality, Bishop Robinson began by discussing the inspiration behind his new book, God Believes in Love: Straight Talk about Gay Marriage.
After opening the floor to questions, conversation shifted to faith as an entry point to dialogue, the fears that underline prejudice, and the enormous importance of religion in social justice work.
Bishop Robinson remains a visionary leader for our movement, and HRC is honored to have hosted him for this special event. Full video is available below or at hrc.org/equalitytalks.
