Victory in Trenton!

Supporters of marriage equality are gathering tonight at the Trenton Marriott after today’s historic vote in the State Assembly.

Things have changed dramatically since I was working with Garden State Equality two years ago when the bill failed in the State Senate.  It has been great working with all the Garden State Equality volunteers over the last few weeks - from the committee hearings to the house parties and phonebanks around the state. 

Thank you to everyone who sent an email to a legislator, came to Trenton to testify, or wrote a personal letter! 

We’ve made history in New Jersey.
