February 20, 2013 by Maureen McCarty, Online Content and Marketing Manager
Tonight the USA Network will air a special HRC public service announcement, featuring actress Callie Thorne of Necessary Roughness, as part of the Characters Unite program.
On tonight's episode a major character grapples with the very personal process of coming out. Whether you're coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or a straight ally, the process is a unique and arduous journey. HRC's Coming Out Center provides extensive resources to help navigate the process.
HRC is proud to join the Characters Unite program, which aims to combat the injustices and inequalities of our society.
For more, tune in to the season finale of Necessary Roughness at 10/9c for tonight’s special HRC PSA, or see it ahead of time here.
