Tonight: Season Premiere of NBC’s Gay Comedy ‘The New Normal’

Tonight is the season premiere NBC’s The New Normal, a comedy from openly gay producers Ali Adler and Ryan Murphy.
Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells play gay prospective parents, hoping to have a child through a surrogate mother, played by Georgia King.
The show has already gotten a lot of early buzz, thanks in part to a preemptive boycott from One Million Moms. The FRC subgroup predictably claims the LGBT-inclusive comedy is “degrading to families and damaging to our culture.”
