HRC’s Religion and Faith Program has been exploring the concept of acceptance in the first few bus stops. In addition to our Pathways to Acceptance forums, I spoke this Sunday at First-Plymouth Congregational Church about the spiritual discipline of acceptance. I asked the congregation to think about acceptance as a life-long process rather than one time destination.

Over 100 people attended the talk and the discussion was lively and informative. First-Plymouth Congregational church is a magnificent congregation with over 3,000 members and a life-affirming Spirit that is palpable to all who walk through their doors. We are proud of our partnership with them and are inspired by the whole community in Lincoln, Nebraska.
