HRC released a new report - complete with damaging emails - today asking this question: Are Anti-gay groups hiding donors, or just running the least successful grassroots campaign in history (or both)? What we found is shocking - even given the history of the National Organization for Marriage and its allies.
According to campaign finance reports recently filed, the Minnesotans United for All Families campaign raised about $1.2 million dollars from 740 donors across the state and another 4,100 not required to be itemized. The NOM-affiliated Minnesota for Marriage raised a roughly similar amount – but reported just seven donors.
Read our report to learn more about who these donors are and where the money funding anti-LGBT efforts in Minnesota are coming from. For more on NOM, visit the www.nomexposed.org.
