Taking Back the Senate in Wisconsin
July 17, 2012 by Paul Guequierre
Today the pro-equality Democrats took the state Senate back in Wisconsin. Last month we came up short in the recall election of anti-equality Governor Scott Walker who has become infamous for his union busting ways, but there was a silver lining – the Democrats were successful in winning a recall election in the state Senate, giving them a slim one-seat majority. While one seat may not seem like a lot, that one seat is the only thing stopping the Republicans from controlling the Governor’s office and both houses of the Legislature.
On Wisconsin.
