TAKE ACTION: HRC heads to New Hampshire to help elect fair-minded candidates

Karl Bach, HRC field organizer, arrives in New Hampshire to help send Bud Martin to the state senate.

I just arrived Thursday afternoon in Manchester, NH where I’ll be working with the New Hampshire Democratic Party to help build the base of fair-minded voters in preparation for 2010 and to help elect Bud Martin to the State Senate in the April 21st special election.  New Hampshire is on the verge of passing two key pieces of legislation: marriage equality legislation and legislation to add gender identity to the state’s non-discrimination and hate crimes laws.  Moving into the 2010 election season, we’ll need a solid base of fair-minded voters, volunteers and local leaders to help re-elect the brave legislators who vote with us.  takeaction-resizedWith only 11 days left before Bud Martin’s special election, we’re calling each one of our members in the district and around the state to let them know about this critical race.  We can win this election but it’s going to be hard and we need your help! We have a whole host of volunteer opportunities to plug you into!  Just send me an email at [email protected] or give me a call at 202-280-5407.  Help us expand equality and get involved in New Hampshire’s efforts to prepare for 2010 today.
