Stanley Tucci is an American for Marriage Equality

Today we released a video ad featuring actor Stanley Tucci for our Americans for Marriage Equality campign. In the video, Tucci says, “Why shouldn’t gay and lesbian couples have the right to get married? Marriage is about love and commitment.” The videos can be viewed online at www.hrc.org/marriageequality.
Stanley Tucci is an award-winning actor whose career has spanned over three decades. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in The Lovely Bones, and won an Emmy for his role in Winchell. More recently, Tucci received critical acclaim for his work in such films as The Devil Wears Prada, Julia & Julia, and the box-office smash, The Hunger Games.
Americans for Marriage Equality is a public engagement campaign featuring prominent Americans who support committed gay and lesbian couples getting married. The campaign draws from a cadre of supportive professional athletes, film and music celebrities, and political and civic leaders.
