Stand with Ayanbadejo for Marriage in Maryland

Josh Levin is the campaign manager for Marylanders for Marriage Equality, the campaign working to defend marriage equality at the ballot box in November.
Linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo has stood up for fairness and equality time and again. His public support for civil marriage licenses for gay and lesbian couples dates back several years, and he has been a key ally for the Marylanders for Marriage Equality campaign.
He’s recorded videos for the campaign. He frequently sends out supportive tweets to his thousands of Twitter followers. And, most recently, he donated Baltimore Ravens tickets to a Marylanders for Marriage Equality fundraiser.
Ayanbadejo has never asked for anything return – until now.
His request is simple – stand with him in support for marriage equality and fairness for all families in Maryland, and share his message with friends and family.
“This is just the beginning. This is about freedom of speech and equality for all,” he wrote in an email to pro-equality Marylanders. “Will you join me and stand for marriage equality by sharing this post on Facebook now?”
Take action today – visit the Marylanders for Marriage Equality Facebook page to like and share his message.
“This is our moment - let's take it. We are Marylanders and we move forward together,” Ayanbadejo wrote.
HRC has set up a special fund to direct 100 percent of your contribution today to defend the marriage equality law in Maryland. HRC is a founding member and leader of Marylanders for Marriage Equality, the coalition campaign working to defend marriage in the Free State, and your contribution will support the coalition's efforts and counttoward your HRC membership.
