Fashion icon Tim Gunn, Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and more than 60 award-winning chefs and mixologists have already signed on to join HRC’s Chefs for Equality next week, and one generous HRC board member is doing what he can to make sure you can join as well.
Chefs for Equality is the first event of its kind, bringing together D.C.’s top chefs and mixologists to raise awareness and critical funds for the fight to defend marriage equality in Maryland.
HRC board member Paul Boskind believes in this event so much that he will pay half your $300 dinner ticket to the Chefs for Equality event on Wednesday, October 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C.!
For your $150 ticket donation, you’ll be treated to an abundance of exclusive tastings, including more than 40 food stations, an elaborate wedding cake display, and an open bar featuring wine, beer and specialty cocktails from 12 of Washington’s top mixologists.
Nine personal chef tables are also up for auction right now, where teams of superstar chefs are offering 5-course, pull-the-stops-out dinners and wine pairings that night, right in the middle of the action.
All our participants have graciously donated their food, drink and services, meaning that 100% of the cost of your ticket as well as every dollar raised will directly benefit the Maryland marriage fight.
Please share this with your friends, and reserve your ticket today!
We look forward to seeing you at Chefs for Equality on October 24!
