NY State Senator Tom Duane, who is openly gay and openly-HIV positive spoke strongly in Albany this week about his experience with HIV during the early years of the AIDS pandemic. Listen to his words, which not only directly speak about HIV, but may also be indirectly telegraphing the passion he’ll bring to bear in the fight to pass marriage equality legislation. We need more leaders like Tom Duane.
