Pride is a wonderfully empowering time for the LGBT community to gather together in celebration of our hard won victories, as well as to recognize the battles that lie ahead.
 
This Pride season, there is much to celebrate, including President Obama’s public support of marriage equality and the official end of the discriminatory "Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell," but the true meaning of the season is one that is deeply personal and unique to each of us in the community.
