Senate Judiciary Committee approves Eric Holder

Good news: The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee voted 17-2 this morning to approve Eric Holder's nomination for Attorney General. These are the Judiciary Committee members who voted in favor of Holder:

Sen. Charles E. Grassley (R-Iowa)
Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-New York)
Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Arizona)

Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama)

Voting against Holder were Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Sen. Tom Coburn (R-Oklahoma). As you know, as a supporter of LGBT inclusion in hate crime laws, HRC supports Eric Holder being confirmed for Attorney General.
