SCOTUS Strikes Down DOMA

Moments ago the Supreme Court handed down its decision in Windsor v. U.S., and ruled that Section 3 of the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act is unconstitutional.

The end of DOMA is a turning point for our movement, but there’s a long road ahead.

We’re still awaiting a ruling on the Perry case, which challenges California’s constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage.
