Respect for Marriage Coalition to Host Panel Discussion

Tomorrow the Respect for Marriage Coalition will host a panel discussion in New York on the economic harms of the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) and marriage inequality.
NY Times bestselling author and financial advisor Suze Orman, Rhode Island Governor Lincoln Chafee, Marcum LLP’s West Coast Partner-In-Charge Nanette Lee Miller, along with couples from Maryland and New York will come together to discuss the economic implications of preventing married same-sex couple from accessing the full legal rights and benefits of marriage.
HRC is a proud member of the Respect for Marriage Coalition, with includes over 80 organizations working to protect the rights of loving, committed same-sex couples.
The event will be held tomorrow at 10:30 am at New York University in New York City.
