League of Women Voters of Maryland. Maryland Black Family Alliance. SEIU 1199 and 500. Episcopal Diocese of Maryland.
These are just a few of the growing number of groups that have signed on as coalition partners in support of marriage equality in Maryland. We recently hit a milestone when our 100th partner signed on!
These organizations are an integral part of our efforts. They help mobilize their members and spread the message that Question 6 is about equality.
The groups are diverse, as you can see - they are religious organizations, community partners, local labor leaders and more.
The full list of coalition partners is available on the Marylanders for Marriage Equality website. We are welcoming new groups to the coalition nearly every day - please join us!
And don’t forget to join us on Saturday for our Day of Action. We will be knocking on doors and talking with Marylanders across the state about the importance of voting for marriage equality in November.
HRC has set up a special fund to direct 100 percent of your contribution today to defend the marriage equality law in Maryland. HRC is a founding member and leader of Marylanders for Marriage Equality, the coalition campaign working to defend marriage in the Free State, and your contribution will support the coalition's efforts and counttoward your HRC membership.
