Panic! at the Disco Unveils T-Shirt to Support HRC
July 30, 2014 by HRC staff
After the notorious hate group Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) announced a protest at Panic! At the Disco’s concert last week, the rock band upped the ante in the fight for LGBT equality by pledging support to HRC’s fight for equal rights.
Today, the band is going even further by re-releasing a Director’s Cut of their “Girls/Girls/Boys” music video featuring lead singer Brendon Urie. To celebrate the re-release and to further their commitment to the LGBT community, the band has partnered with HRC to create a limited-edition t-shirt inspired by the video and featuring HRC’s iconic red and pink marriage equality logo. The rainbow tie-dyed tee retails for $25 and 100% of the proceeds go directly to HRC.
Panic! At The Disco joins a long list of musicians and artists who are sparking conversations about the power of love, fairness and equality as part of HRC’s Equality Rocks campaign. Supporters of the campaign include: Florence and the Machine, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sara Bareilles, Phoenix, Tegan & Sara, Animal Collective, SOJA, Betty Who and Rye Rye.
