Overwhelming Majority of Millennials Support Marriage Equality

According to a Pew Research Center report released yesterday, 7 out of 10 Americans born after 1980 support the right of same-sex couples to marry.

Comparatively, a recent Washington Post/ ABC News poll shows that 58 percent of all Americans support marriage equality.

The recent Pew study is just one more reminder that the arc of justice is bent toward equality, as momentum continues to build toward marriage for loving, comitted same-sex couples.

With each state that falls on the right side of history, we look toward a future in which American youth can grow up in a nation more equal.

Just last week, Rhode Island joined the ranks of states with marriage equality legislation on the books, with both Delaware, Illinois and Minnesota lawmakers to soon consider similar legislation.
