Oregon United for Marriage Off to Amazing Start
July 30, 2013 by Marty Rouse, National Field Director
Before leaving Portland, I stopped by the Oregon United for Marriage offices to congratulate the staff and volunteers for an amazing three days of collecting signatures to go to the ballot to win marriage in November, 2014.
The campaign set a goal of collecting 10,000 signatures in the first ten days of the campaign. After only three days, the campaign surpassed its goal.

The energy and excitement across Oregon is matched only by that of the campaign's staff and volunteers. HRC is proud to be a leading partner of the Oregon United for Marriage campaign. In addition to significant funding, HRC has contributed a full-time organizer and a faith director.
Together we're going to make history in Oregon.
