Obama to Appoint Former HRC Employee to Key Administration Post

Congratulations are in order for former HRC employee the Rev. George B. Walker Jr. – he’s been named to President Obama’s Board of Advisors on Historically Black Colleges and Universities!

Walker served as a major gifts officer with the Human Rights Campaign from 2004 to 2006. He is currently the vice president of strategic partnerships at the Gay & Lesbian Victory Fund and Victory Institute.

Walker’s friends at HRC wish him the best of luck with his new role!
