NJ Teacher’s Anti-LGBT Vitriol Continues: New Tweet Exposed
October 13, 2011 by Dan Rafter, Online Campaigns Manager
We told you earlier today about Union High School teacher Viki Knox and her anti-LGBT rant on Facebook after discovering her school’s bulletin board commemorating LGBT history month.
Well, it gets worse.
Knox’s remarks, sent to Garden State Equality, weren’t isolated to her recent Facebook posting. On September 20 – as the nation celebrated the historic implementation of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” repeal after a bipartisan push, Knox took to Twitter to express her disgust, tweeting: “DON’T ASK, DON’T TELL!?! ARE THEY SERIOUS? GOD IS NOT PLEASED AND NEITHER AM I!!! THE END IS NEAR!!!”

Union Township school officials are investigating Knox’s remarks. If you haven’t already, sign our petition calling on Union Township Schools Superintendent Dr. Patrick Martin to take appropriate action against Knox. New Jersey has the nation’s toughest anti-bullying law – Viki Knox has proven herself incapable of carrying out the law within her school. Over 2200 people have taken action in just a few hours – add your voice now.
