NJ: Closing the Gap One Call at a Time

Last week HRC volunteers met in South Orange, New Jersey to make phone calls to fellow HRC members asking them to vote for pro-LGBT candidates on November 3. Roger Rosen, Bill Reich, Brian Flanagan (and Brian's dogs), and I made 240 calls to New Jersey HRC members. All the callers said the same thing, "I am voting for pro-LGBT candidates!" There has never been a more important time for people to get involved than right now. On November 3 there is so much at stake, including marriage equality. Several people we spoke with took that to heart and signed up to volunteer. Governor Corzine is closing the gap every day, and we need your help to win on election day. HRC is working closely with the Democratic Coordinated Campaign to elect pro-LGBT leaders like Governor Corzine and we need your help!
