New Yorker Cover Features Bert and Ernie’s “Moment of Joy”

The New Yorker is celebrating the Supreme Court rulings with a hat-tip to two of pop culture's most beloved characters.
Cover artist Jack Hunter featured Sesame Street’s Bert and Ernie cuddling in a “moment of joy” while an image of the Supreme Court justices flickers on the television screen just over their shoulders.
According to The New Yorker, Hunter’s originally submitted the image, unsolicited, to Tumblr.
“This is great for our kids, a moment we can all celebrate,” Hunter told The New Yorker.
