Nancy Reagan Supports Marriage Equality, Daughter Claims
April 17, 2013 by Maureen McCarty, HRC Senior Digital Strategist
Patti Davis, daughter of former President Ronald Reagan and First Lady Nancy Reagan, is again making headlines -- this time claiming her mother supports marriage equality.
Davis, in an interview with Michael Signorile, said that her mother supports same-sex marriage but is “not comfortable going out in the public eye and getting in the firing line of anything.”
Earlier this month Davis told the New York Times that her father would have supported marriage equality and would have been “puzzled” by the same-sex marriage debate.
