October 26, 2011 by Maureen McCarty, Online Content and Marketing Manager
This Sunday, tune into MTV’s signature online award show, the O Music Awards, as they attempt to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest dance party.
In honor of National Bullying Prevention Month, dancers will hit to floor for a 24-hour long dance marathon to raise funds for several LGBT and anti-bullying organizations, including HRC, GLSEN, the It Gets Better Project, the GSA Network, GLAAD and The Trevor Project.
The event will be live-streamed on OMusicAwards.com on Sunday, October 30 from the Roxy Theater on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. Viewers can donate online throughout the livestream and send words of encouragement to participants through Facebook and Twitter.
