Momentum Continues to Grow Illinois

HRC is hard at work in Illinois with 15 field organizers hitting the phones with the Illinois Unites for Marriage Coalition to call the fair-minded residents of Illinois.
Over the past three days, volunteers have spoken with over 1,000 voters in priority districts and have connected over 300 people directly to their legislator.
Marriage equality legislation is now pending before the Illinois House of Representatives after a successful vote in the state Senate.
The majority of Illinoisans support marriage equality and momentum is on our side to make Illinois the tenth state to with marriage equality.
We will continue our work in the state to bend the arc toward justice and equality.
