Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman Join HRC’s Americans for Marriage Equality
April 11, 2012 by Charlie Joughin
The hilariously entertaining Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman are the latest stars to join HRC’s Americans for Marriage Equality campaign. In the video, the couple, who have been married since 2003, complain that “Any random man and woman can casually show up at a 24 hour wedding chapel in Vegas, exchange ‘I do’s’ and boom – they’re married.”
Mullally is perhaps best known for her Emmy Award winning role as the spunky Karen Walker on the hit sitcom, “Will and Grace.” She can currently be seen on “Breaking In” on FOX opposite Christian Slater. Offerman is known for his role on the acclaimed NBC series “Parks and Recreation” as Ron Swanson. The two met in 2000 while performing in a play and married three years later.
This is the eighteenth video released by HRC for the Americans campaign. Past videos feature Cybill Shepherd, Kristen Bell, Jason Mraz, Rossana Rosado, The Rev. Al Sharpton, U.S. Sen. Al Franken, Michael K. Williams, Aisha Tyler, Scott Fujita, Josh Charles, John Leguizamo, Julian Bond, Mo’Nique, and Mayor Cory Booker.
