Maryland House to Consider Gender Identity Protections Bill Today
March 27, 2014 by Marty Rouse, National Field Director
I am sitting in the Maryland House Chamber gallery as delegates prepare to take up the Fairness for All Marylanders Act.
The bill, which would update Maryland’s anti-discrimination law to include gender identity in employment, housing, public accommodations and credit, has been years in the making.
Sitting alongside friends at Equality Maryland, we anxiously wait for the upcoming debate and vote.
Stay tuned to HRC Blog for more updates throughout the day.
