Maryland House Debates Marriage Equality Bill
February 17, 2012 by Marty Rouse, National Field Director
Greetings from Annapolis! You can feel the excitement in the air in the State House today!
The House of Delegates is debating the bill as I write this – as a reminder, we need 71 votes to pass marriage equality.
The vote is expected at 4:30 p.m. - an earlier proposal for civil unions legislation failed by a wide margin.
