Marriage Equality Supporters Get Creative with HRC’s Red Logo
June 24, 2013 by HRC staff
As the country awaits descisions from the Supreme Court on this term's two landmark marriage equality cases, members of the LGBT community and its allies have been turning their profile pictures red to send a message that they stand on the right side of history. Some, though, have gotten a little more creative. Here are a few of our most recent favorites:
What to show off your support for marriage equality? Snap a photo of what represents equality for you and upload it to Instagram with the hashtag #time4marriage. It could be featured on our dynamic mosaic at www.picturingequality.org.
You can also tell your friends and family members that you stand on the right side of history by changing your Facebook and Twitter profile pictures red for equality using one of our apps.
Tomorrow is the next day that Court can rule on marriage equailty, so time is running out to show your support. To get news from the Supreme Court as it happens, text MARRIAGE to 30644 to join our Mobile Action Network.
