Making the Case for Marriage Equality in Maryland

HRC’s National Field Director Marty Rouse made the case for marriage equality in Maryland on WUSA yesterday. Rouse appeared opposite Maryland’s GOP Chair Alex Mooney. When pressed on why LGBT families shouldn't enjoy equal protections under the law in Maryland, Mooney said: “Frankly, homosexual people should be happy to live in this country, they have equal rights as everybody else.”
