Lou Engle “Haunted” By Vision of Homosexual Tornado
April 24, 2012 by Eric Cameron, Digital Media Coordinator
Radically anti-LGBT pastor Lou Engle wasn’t a panelist at this weekend’s Awakening 2012 panel on “The LGBT Agenda,” but that didn’t stop him from standing up and preaching his special brand of hate.
As Right Wing Watch reports, Engle addressed the conservative panel from the audience, calling on faith leaders to organize a “massive, concerted prayer movement” to battle the “principalities and powers” of LGBT activism.
Not one to beat around the bush, Engle promptly described his vision of “the homosexual and abortion tornadoes” that are “coming to destroy America.”
Engle – who has traveled to Uganda to rally support for the proposed “Kill the Gays” bill – also lamented that his anti-LGBT preaching has been “blasted” in the past.

This isn’t the first time right-wing extremists have compared the LGBT movement to a destructive weather pattern. You may also remember NOM’s infamous “Gathering Storm” ad from the Prop. 8 campaign, hilariously parodied by Funny or Die. Definitely worth revisiting as you brace yourself for this rainbow cyclone.
