Assemblywoman Duprey stood and shared how she voted no the last time the assembly voted on this bill and that she promised that she would study this issue. She did. She heard from contituents, read, spoke to parents, and met with same-sex couples. "I do not see this as a religious issue. I firmly believe this is a civil rights issue. I am certain my vote is the right one and I will proudly cast my vote in the affirmative"
