LGBT-Inclusive Workplace Policies Add Up for Employers, Employees

LGBT-inclusive workplace policies are not only beneficial for employees, but can bolster the bottom line, according to Williams Institute's analysis of 33 separate academic studies.
The analysis links LGBT supportive policies to greater job commitment, improved workplace relationships, increased job satisfaction, and improved health outcomes among LGBT employees, in addition to a decreased likelihood that an employee will face discrimination and an increased likely for the employee to be open about their sexual orientation.
The study outlines the robust evidence that the companies that promote inclusive, diverse workplace environments ultimately benefit fiscally.
