“Legalize Gay” Film Highlights New Generation of Advocates

Logo’s new documentary, Legalize Gay, is a unique look into the courageous advocates, both gay and straight, behind the LGBT movement.
A number of HRC members and supporters make an appearance in documentary, including current HRC President Joe Solmonese, Marriage Equality Advocate Zach Wahls, Athlete Ally Founder Hudson Taylor, and Rugby Superstar Ben Cohen.
The groundbreaking film also features Daniel Hernandez, the Congressional intern widely credited with saving Arizona Congresswoman Gabby Giffords’ life; Brian Sims, who recently became Pennsylvania’s first openly gay state legislator; and Miss New York 2010 Claire Buffie, the first Miss America contestant to run on a gay rights platform.
Nationwide, these brave individuals, along with countless others, are making a difference in the fight for full LGBT equality.
