Kobe Bryant Tells Fan: Anti-Gay Isn’t Ok

NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, who HRC called out just a few years ago for the use of homophobic language, is now taking a stand against anti-LGBT language on social media.
After a fan sent him an anti-gay tweet, Bryant had this to say in response:
Just letting you know@PacSmoove @pookeo9 that using "your gay" as a way to put someone down ain't ok! #notcool delete that out ur vocab

The use of anti-gay language creates a toxic for LGBT individuals, particularly youth. HRC applauds the cadre of supportive professional athletes, who are setting an example of tolerance and acceptance for youth across the country.
