We hope you can join us Monday, October 1 at 6:30 pm for a free reading and discussion with pioneering LGBT advocate Bishop Gene Robinson.
In 2003 Bishop Robinson made history as the first ever openly gay person elected to the historic episcopate. As a Senior Fellow at the Center for American Progress and a preacher of inclusion and civic responsibility, he remains one of the world’s leading religious advocates for LGBT equality.
Bishop Robinson will join us at HRC’s DC headquarters for a reading from his new book, God Believes in Love: Straight Talk about Gay Marriage.
Those who can’t attend in person can watch a free webcast of the event at 6:30 pm EDT. Tune in at hrc.org/equalitytalks. Video will remain available in the weeks to come.
Hope you can join us for this special event with one of our movement’s visionary leaders.
