Illinois Senate Prepares to Vote on Marriage Equality
February 14, 2013 by Lynne Bowman, Regional Field Director
It’s Valentine’s Day and I’m headed to the statehouse in Springfield, Illinois with the Illinois Unites for Marriage team.
We’re here to witness the historic vote in the Illinois Senate to recognize marriage equality in Illinois. This could be a long day, but ultimately we’re hoping for a win and then on to the House.
Keep your eyes on the HRC Blog and www.illinoisunites.org for updates.
And Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone.
