Seattle's most recognizable landmark went red for marriage equality yesterday, as a group raised a flag above the Space Needle that featured HRC's red equal sign logo superimposed on the outline of Washington State.

All around the country this weekend, the LGBT community and its allies used yearly pride celebrations to applaud this weekend's major victories for marriage equality at the Supreme Court. In San Francisco, HRC's President Chad Griffin marched with the plaintiffs whose challenge brought down California's Proposition 8, and in New York City, Defense of Marriage Act plaintiff Edie Windsor was a grand marshall for the annual Pride March.

While June may have come to a close, pride events are still going on around the country. Find one near you by visiting HRC's pride page.
