When the landmark marriage equality cases were argued in March, you turned the Internet red to send a clear, unequivocal message to the justices and your friends and family that you stand on the right side of history, and that they should too. Now it’s time to send that message again – and we’ve made it easy for you to do that.
We launched one more way to help you to update your Facebook profile. Check out our Facebook app now or share one of our graphics telling your social network that you support marriage equality. Visit our new Supreme Court action center to sign a petition asking the justices to hand down a ruling for marriage equality or superimpose the red equal sign on your Twitter profile picture.
This is a crucial time to show your support for marriage equality. With only weeks left in the Supreme Court’s term, the justices are set to issue their rulings on this year’s cases any day now. It could be as early as this coming Monday – the next time the court will issue opinions in argued cases.
We also want you to show us what equality looks like to you personally. Snap a photo and upload it to Instagram with the hashtag #time4marriage. It could end up in our constantly updating mosaic of photos from our supporters and allies at PicturingEquality.org.
