HRC President Continues GOTV Tour at University of Minnesota

On Monday HRC President Chad Griffin joined Minnesotans United for All Families at University of Minnesota for a rally to help mobilize young people to support equality at the ballot box.

Minnesotans United's Vote No Kick-Off rally in Northrop Plaza brought together a crowd of nearly 5,000 fair-minded Americans, along with Minnesota Viking's kicker Chris Kluwe, Sen. Al Franken, Sen. Amy Klobuchar and other local dignitaries.

The stop at University of Minnesota is part of Griffin's six-state Get Out the Vote tour to activate HRC’s more than one million members and supporters to vote and get their friends and family to vote. HRC is undertaking the largest mobilization effort in the history of this organization—the final stage in a years-long effort to make 2012 a milestone for equality.
