HRC staff donned purple yesterday to commemorate Spirit Day , a day meant to show support for LGBT youth and acknowledge the serious effects of bullying. Janice Langbehn, who just an hour earlier received the Presidential Citizens Medal from President Obama, spoke to staff. Langbehn led the fight for increased equality in healthcare after she was denied access to her partner when she passed away suddenly in a Florida hospital.
