HRC Launches New Website Design

You may have noticed things look a little different around here—a little hipper, a little more cutting edge. The Human Rights Campaign launched our brand new website today in an effort to create a powerful and dynamic online system that would engage our users, integrate and harness our power across platforms and simplify HRC’s online experience for all.

HRC has been hard at work since September 2010 to reinvigorate our online presence and we’re pleased with the results: a sleek design that will faster connect you to HRC’s countless resources, the latest news on LGBT issues, and the schedule of local events.

Since HRC’s last redesign in 2005, our members and supporters has grown to over one million members. Our website expanded to its limits to meet the community’s needs, in effect creating an often disjointed web presence.

Our renowned logo was the driving force behind the redesign process, in a continued effort to unite our web presence under a uniform look and feel.

HRC worked closely with Blue State Digital, the team behind Obama’s successful online fundraising and organizing campaigns, to refine our strategy for our online properties and build an entirely new site.

We hope you’ll take a minute to peruse our new website, as well as check out our new designs on Facebook, Twitter and Youtube.
