Last night, the Religion and Faith Program at HRC was honored to host a reception for our friends at Muslims for Progressives Values (MPV).  Rep. Keith Ellison (MN-5), one of two Muslim members of Congress, delivered the evening’s inspiring keynote address. He implored the crowd to never give up on the sometimes challenging work of helping America live into the promise and vision of true justice and equality for all.  MPV is an inclusive community rooted in the traditional Qur’anic ideals of human dignity and social justice; in addition to their passionate pursuit of equality and interfaith understanding, MPV is a national leader for LGBT inclusion and advocacy.  Learn more about their work Battling for gay rights, in Allah's name.
