August 27, 2012 by Eric Cameron, Digital Media Associate
HRC is hosting a book launch for Our Time: Breaking the Silence of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”, a collection edited by OutServe co-founder Josh Seefried. We invite you to attend a reception at HRC’s D.C. headquarters this Thursday, August 30, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet several LGBT servicemembers and contributors.
Our Time is a diverse collection of personal accounts detailing hardships faced and courage shown during the 17 years of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” In the wake of repeal, it also speaks to new friendships forged and minds opened.
