From Tuesday, May 28th through Sunday, June 3rd the 30th annual Be-All Conference took place welcoming many to one of the premiere transgender events in the nation. HRC Chicago was there and held a seminar to discuss the Corporate Equality Index and the progress it has been making within the transgender community. Jamaul Webster, who represents HRC Chicago for corporate outreach, was available to discuss recent changes in the CEI and workplace implications. In addition, Webster was able to listen to concerns and open dialogue with those in the transgender community.
Said Jamaul, “This was a unique experience where we could provide great information and speak open and honestly about next steps for the Human Rights Campaign. It was a great day for all in the LGBT community and I am looking forward to more collaboration!”
This was the 11th consecutive Be-All to take place here in Chicago and we are hoping for many more in the future.
